EP-Exec: Inclusive Growth and Empowerment
We have partnered with professional employment and empowerment management specialists. Opportunities for both businesses and job seekers will be managed through the EP-Exec® System, an online platform with offline capabilities for situations where needed. All businesses seeking opportunities and job seekers looking for employment related to an Organization/Project are required to register on the EP-Exec® Portal. The website and stakeholders provide project details, regular updates, and advertisements for upcoming business and employment opportunities on their portal. All open and closed opportunities will be clearly listed on the project’s opportunities inside the portal.
A common challenge in many communities is the expectation that local development projects should exclusively benefit residents of the immediate surrounding area. This has led to the emergence of groups often referred to as “business forums” who sometimes attempt to control these projects. This practice can infringe on the rights of individuals and businesses to freely work and operate, and can create several challenges, including:
- Skills and Resource Gaps: A lack of necessary skills and resources within a specific geographic area.
- Entitlement and Complacency: A sense of entitlement among some locals, potentially leading to complacency and a lack of required qualifications.
- Exclusion of Others: Intimidation and victimization of individuals and businesses from outside the designated area.
- Inflated Costs: Artificially high pricing due to a sense of entitlement.
- Disruptive Takeovers: Attempts to forcibly take control of projects in the name of the local area.
- Limited Opportunities: Denying opportunities to qualified individuals and businesses from other areas, potentially leading to conflict and project delays or closures.
