Phuti Seanego

Phuti Seanego obtained a higher certificate in banking in 2020 after having worked at FNB as a Customer Service Specialist on contract for a year. She has also worked as an Education Assistant at Madibatlou Middle School.

Initially Phuti volunteered as a data capturer and consultant before joining EmpowerPloy, now EP Exec, full time in 2022. Today, she is our administrative support for our project’s development team who all work on site. As our EP Exec operations expand we envisage Phuti becoming online customer support.

The important skills Phuti has obtained over the years include developing interpersonal relationships, team work, patience, empathy, communication, adaptability, and having flexibility. All of which are necessary for quality customer service and public relations.

In her spare time, Phuti loves volunteering and helping others. As such, in 2021 she joined a church foundation who provide food parcels to the less fortunate. Their team goes out to a specific township for a day, gathers people together and hand out food parcels. This foundation is going strong.

Phuti says volunteering has taught her that little deeds can have profound effects. She loves seeing people happy, and knowing that she contributed towards that happiness makes it even more special.

Aside from working, Phuti loves travelling, adventure, singing and trying out different foods. She says she’s not big into sports, but watches soccer a lot.

She is engaged, and mother to a little girl. Recently travelling abroad with her family was one of her best life experiences.

While sadly, losing one of her close aunts was understandably her worst life experience.

A fun fact about Phuti is that she got an award in high school for laughing a lot. Frankly, this makes Phuti a real delight and joy to be around in the office!

Phuti’s long term dreams and aspirations are going back to school, travelling the world, and being happy.

Since laughter and happiness are both contagious, positive qualities we trust your interactions with Phuti will be uplifting

Bongani Mahlangu

Befittingly Bongani Mahlangu, our EP Exec project’s manager qualified as a Civil Engineering Technician at TUT. He is also a member of South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE) and Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) registered as a candidate.

Bongani has over 18 years’ experience spanning various industries, including civil engineering, stakeholder management, empowerment and employment.

In 2006, Bongani was first employed by Khonza Izwe Consulting, a sister company to Magabholi General Trading. Most recently, in 2022 he joined our team at EmpowerPloy, now known as EP Exec.

As a civil engineer, between 2006 and 2021, Bongani was involved in a diversity of large scale projects. From the building of hospitals and schools; upgrading and paving roads; construction of bus and taxi routes; water reticulation, borehole and storm water management; plumbing and repairing sinkholes all the way through to planning, designing and tender processes too.

His extensive knowledge and firsthand experience, particularly in the construction sector brings substantial value to EP Exec. Especially since our primary involvement as stakeholder engagement specialists began whilst working closely with mall and shopping center property developers.

Bongani also possesses strong knowledge of drafting and design software programs, compliance, communications, development of emerging contractors, activity monitoring, analytical skills, report writing and strategy. All of which makes him a great credit to the EP Exec team, and our forward projections as a company.

Aside from work, his hobbies and sports activities have included karate, basketball, soccer, singing, and he recently started playing golf. In 1994, as a soccer player he represented Mdutjana Regional circuit in Malelane. And, in 1999 as a basketball player he represented Technikon Northern Gauteng, currently known as Tshwane University of Technology.

Tragically, his worst life experiences were the loss of his father, and older brother. However, his best life experience was getting married to his beautiful wife. Together they have three boys.

His aspirations and dreams are to run a consultation and construction firm in the civil engineering sector one day. Until then, EP Exec is pleased to have Bongani as a core team member. We appreciate his across-the-board experience, which is helping us create a firm foundation and greater footprint as we assist local businesses to find job seekers, and visa versa.
